What is included in your museum ticket?
Standard admission covers a visit to the museum collection. Explore toys from different periods, dollhouses and miniature scenes, diecast vehicles and figures that connect childhood memories across generations. With around 17,000 toys from a collection built over 50 years, the museum offers details for children, adults and collectors to discover together.
Creative workshops, scheduled live Karagöz and Hacivat performances, food and drinks are charged separately. A museum admission ticket does not automatically include every activity. A museum stop during your Balat visit
The museum is in Fatih, on the Golden Horn side of Istanbul. Combine your collection visit with a walk through the Balat area and leave time for a break, especially when travelling with children. Indoor galleries make the museum a useful stop when your walking plans change because of the weather.

Visiting with children or a tour group
Children under 36 months have free museum admission. Workshops have their own age ranges, availability and fees. Families can ask about daily walk-in children’s workshops before arriving. Is the Museum Pass or Müzekart valid?
No. Balat Toy Museum requires its own admission ticket.
Are workshops and live shows included?
No. Standard admission covers the collection visit. Workshops and scheduled live shows have separate participation conditions and fees.
